New Mom Moments is an OB initiative that contains programs from planning for a healthy pregnancy to helping your children cope with a new addition to your family. New Mom Moments is designed to provide your hospital with the strategies to bond with women and their families during a new and exciting time in their life.
New Mom Moments also assists hospitals in promoting service lines and physician practices as related to obstetrics and gynecology, infertility, pediatrics and general women’s health. The optional components to New Mom Moments include:
Planning for Pregnancy
Planning for Pregnancy: an educational workshop for women who are seeking information on planning for a healthy pregnancy. Workshops include educational materials and fertility tracking information, and are geared toward women who are currently expecting or trying to become pregnant.
New Baby Day Camp for Big Brothers and Big Sisters
New Baby Day Camp for Big Brothers and Big Sisters: designed as an adventure that helps prepare children who are anticipating the arrival of a new sibling. This program provides a forum to increase family loyalty to the hospital and increase consumer perception of the hospital as a dedicated women’s (and family) health resource in the community.
New Mom Tea and Social Hour
New Mom Tea and Social Hour: a quarterly event that focuses on education critical to healthy newborns and postpartum women. This event initiates relationships with newly pregnant women who are considering a hospital for delivery, and also maintains relationships with women who delivered within the past twelve months.
When Hope Is Not Enough
When Hope Is Not Enough: a workshop presented by obstetricians/gynecologist and reproductive endocrinologists focusing on couples experiencing difficulties in achieving pregnancy. This program provides couples with information on ovulation detection, fertility diagnostics and information on current reproductive technology and includes support groups and educational resources for attendees.
